We have 8 spacious self-catering chalets that each sleep two people

The Magalies river winds around the game farm and the 8 chalets are situated on a horse shoe bend of the river. Each chalet is between 30m-50m apart, overlooking the river and offering complete privacy providing an ideal venue for a break-away weekend with your significant other.

The open plan layout of each chalet which each accommodate two adults are appointed with a queen size bed and corner bay window bath overlooking the river. The chalets are fully equipped for self catering and include microwave, hot plate stove, fridge, fireplace and private patio braai.

Take some time out of the chalet and explore the farm. The rolling grasslands are the perfect spot to start unwinding. The dam is the perfect spot for a dip or a paddle. It is home to prolific birdlife and fish.

Behind the dam in the centre of the horseshoe, slightly elevated is the communal lapa which has a heated whirlpool (30°C), a swimming pool, a grassy area ideal for a braai and then the inside braai and serving counter, ideal for chilly winters.

On special request, young children can share a chalet with their parents. For a small extra charge, we will put a camping stretcher bed into a chalet. A maximum of two children may share with their parents in a chalet.

For safety reasons we insist that young children are supervised at all times as the river, the swimming pool, whirl pool and dam are unfenced and pose a drowning risk.

We are pet friendly BUT prior approval is required.

Pet owners need to know that our chalets are unfenced, we have both domestic livestock (cattle, sheep, horses etc) and wild animals on the property as well as our own dogs (who are very well socialised).

The pet owners are responsible for not only the safety and well being of their own animals but also those on the farm.

An unruly dog chasing sheep even if just for fun can have a devastating impact on the well being of potentially pregnant ewes.

Before accepting any bookings with pets, we do need to know the breed of dog, it size and level of obedience.

Little Swift has the tranquil quietness of the wilderness, guests come here to relax, rest and break away from the hustle, bustle and noise of city life.

Our policy is strictly a NO loud music /noise policy.
